Bricks4DC
We are a student-run non-profit organization based in Washington, DC that focuses on bringing the joy of LEGO® building to youth currently living in family housing shelters.
We collect community-donated LEGO® bricks, then sort and sanitize them to bring to volunteer-led classes at the shelters throughout DC. The kids are able to be creative and learn problem solving skills, all while having fun building. They participate in engineering challenges given to them in monthly classes, as we aim to have them learn as they play.

We have collected over 700 pounds of LEGO®s to give to family shelters throughout Washington, DC
